As I sat in a “Glory Meeting” worshiping, this phrase came suddenly to my mind- Preemptive Strike. I knew that it was a direction from God and was not to be ignored. For the past two weeks I have been wrestling with just what it means. While we have conducted much Spiritual warfare, most of it has been defensive or reactive. Is God directing us to take the offensive? I believe so. Then, just how do we go about making a Preemptive Strike against the enemy?
First of all we need information (“intel” if you will). Our past efforts at spiritual mapping are not enough to predict when and where the enemy will attack. We must infiltrate and spy out the land.
a. Logistical - demographic
b. Prophetic - What is God saying to you?
c. Scriptural - What does God say in the word?
d. The state of the Church?
e. Historical - Broken Covenants
f. Contemporary – News – What has the enemy been doing lately?
g. Corporate Sin – Such as Abortion, that was done in agreement.
h. Redeeming Purpose – What does GOD say it should be?
Whatever our efforts have been in the past, it is time to revisit and redouble them.
Secondly, We must prepare ourselves. That is why we must “Sanctify the People”. I have found the Prayer for Dismantling the Roots of Rebellion by Paul Cox to be very effective. If you are tempted to succumb to temptation just get that prayer out and read it again and mean it.
Thirdly, we need to sharpen up our weapons. These are based in the Word of God. The most effective are repentance and blessing and declaration of the word.
Chuck Pierce says that we need to learn to pray prayers that will confuse the enemy.
When we were in San Nicholas Argentina with Ed Silvoso, We disrupted the enemy’s hold on the territory by Worshipping every morning, then driving through the streets for ten days blessing all the people. On a Wednesday night the intercessory strike teams went to the specific sites of the major cults, we repented for the corporate sins of the people and we prayed like this. “Lord, bless the people involved in this cult. Open their eyes and their minds so that they may see the foolishness that they are involved in. Let the logic of this false doctrine become so blatantly obvious that the people will be disgusted with this falsehood. Put confusion on those leaders that their rhetoric will be contradictory and senseless. Give this people a hunger for truth."
* We cut off the enemy's supply when we repent and deprive him of the ground to use as an operational base
* We disrupt the enemy’s communication when we fill the air with praises of GOD.
* We dismantle the enemy's infrastructure when we take away the people he has in bondage.
Where is the enemy about to strike?
1. in the areas where sin abounds – REPENT
2. in the areas of our weakness - BE STRONG IN THE LORD & HIS WORD
3. in the areas of our neglected strength- STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED
4. in the areas of misunderstanding – PRAY IN THE SPIRIT & WITH UNDERSTANDING
5. in the areas of mistrust - KNOW NO MAN BY THE FLESH
6. in the areas of isolation - FORSAKE NOT THE ASSEMBLYING TOGETHER OF THE BRETHERN.
7. in the area where pride has led you to believe you are invulnerable.
SOME TRUST IN CHARIOTS, SOME IN HORSES, BUT WE REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE LORD OUR GOD.
8. in the area of unconfessed sin & bitterness. Sanctify yourself - REPENT FOR THE
KINGDOM OF
GOD IS AT HAND.
9. in the area where God has given us grace but we have not given others grace.
GO AND DO LIKEWISE.
10. In the area where people are in bondage. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
A VERY REAL THREAT
Today: Bishop Bart Pierce shared his concern that the Moslems are targeting the Baltimore-Washington corridor for settlement so that their numbers are rapidly increasing here. Remember that the spirit behind Islam is that same spirit that has driven the foes of the LORD GOD SINCE THE FALL. Whether you call it ISIS, DIANA or ALLAH, it is the same antichrist spirit that has wrestled for the throne of GOD since SATAN was cast down.
Recently, I have been listening to Nigerian Pastors tell of their conflicts with the Islamic religion. They explain that the Islamic mystics are very adept at the placing of curses and witchcraft like activity, including summoning powerful demons on their behalf. One source explains that 75% of the Islamic prayers are CURSES. THESE CURSES ARE AIMED AT YOU! However benign some Moslems seem, remember that their curses are real.
These curses are evident in the confusion that has been reigned on our government leaders, feeding the fire of campaign rhetoric over unreal issues and making the President and his advisors seem inept. Thus they are politically vunerable and our country more physically vunerable.
The danger is that the curses pave the way in the supernatural for physical acts to follow in the natural.
The curses of Islamic moderates are more dangerous than the violence of the radical Moslems.
The curses of benign Moslems are as dangerous as mad bombers.
